Matthew Watabe is a member of the Modern Day staff, providing administrative support for the missionaries in the field. His ministry duties include managing the Modern Day website, processing contributions to the missionaries, and providing accounting for the finances of the organization. Matthew is a junior at the University of Texas at Arlington and is majoring in finance. He is working and studying with the goal of helping to break the cycle of poverty in third world countries by developing and financing local businesses there. He sees this as a way of providing an inroad for the Gospel into unreached areas in fulfillment of a dream that The Lord gave him as a child.
