Sharon Karns is the Senior Director for The Orphan Justice Center which is a non-profit organization based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Orphan Justice Center (OJC) exists to restore orphaned, foster, and at-risk children in three distinct and strategic ways: Establishing safe and restorative communities for orphans, Equipping and Empowering families to adopt, and Raising public awareness for at-risk children.

God has awakened our hearts to hear and answer the silent cries of the most marginalized, voiceless and forgotten people group – the orphans. We are convinced that He is orchestrating a justice revolution that will bring restoration and redemption.

This justice movement, saturated in night and day prayer, will rescue and bring restoration to 10,000 orphans over the next 10 years. Through the spirit of grace and adoption, OJC will create a model that can be reproduced across America and in the nations. We envision the lonely, neglected, handicapped and abused orphans being set into loving families and supported by communities of night and day prayer.
